‘No Wallflower’ is the name of the current collection, the inspiration for it came from looking back at the forgotten women in British design, in particular Anna Maria Garthwaite from the 18th Century. She was the only female textile designer of her time, her work was beautifully hand painted. She was a pioneer as a female designer at that time. “I stand in London three decades later and I have no limitations”.
The end-result is a stylish modern collection with a strong identity. It represents self expression and throwing out the design rule book when it comes to colour and pattern.
